Capabilities

What this module handles

Saudi training institutes and growing chains often deliver courses through Zoom links, unlisted YouTube videos and WhatsApp, then track completion in a spreadsheet that no regulator or HR auditor accepts. Odoo eLearning turns videos, documents, pages and quizzes into courses on your website with progress tracked per learner, and Naqlah, an Odoo Gold Partner in Saudi Arabia, configures access rules, paid enrollment and certificates so training runs without a separate LMS.

  • Courses built from video, PDF, web pages and quizzes, embedded from YouTube or Vimeo or uploaded
  • Free, paid or invitation-only access set per course, with prerequisites between courses
  • Quizzes with points, badges and completion certificates generated automatically in Arabic and English
  • Learner progress, attempts and completion reports per course, cohort or employee
  • Paid courses sold as products through the Odoo store with mada and Apple Pay checkout
  • Course reviews, rating and a linked Forum for questions in context
  • Staff-only courses tied to employee records for onboarding and compliance training
  • Arabic and English course pages, lesson titles and certificate templates with right-to-left layout
Saudi ready

Built for how business runs in Saudi Arabia

Naqlah builds course pages and certificates in Arabic and English, with Arabic learner names and Hijri and Gregorian dates where your certificates need them. Paid courses are invoiced with 15% VAT through ZATCA-integrated Accounting, so every enrollment produces a compliant e-invoice without a separate step. Completion and attendance records are structured to support what NELC program licensing, TVTC and HR audits ask for, and learner data stays in your Odoo database under PDPL.

Licensing-aware setup
Courses are structured so completion, attendance and assessment data match what NELC program licensing asks for. Naqlah does not issue licences, but makes sure your platform records what the licence requires.

Paid in SAR with mada
Checkout runs through PayTabs or another local gateway with mada and Apple Pay, and each enrollment posts a ZATCA e-invoice. No bank transfer screenshots to reconcile.

Training tied to HR
Staff courses link to employee files, so onboarding and compliance completion is proof on the record, not a note in a folder.

How it connects

How does a learner go from enrollment to certificate in Odoo?

1. Learner finds or is invited to the course
A customer finds the course on your website, or HR enrolls a new employee into the onboarding track.

2. Enrollment is free or paid
Paid courses go through the Odoo store, the payment settles with mada or Apple Pay and the ZATCA e-invoice posts in Accounting.

3. Lessons and quizzes with progress tracked
The learner works through video, documents and quizzes on mobile, and each attempt and completion is recorded.

4. Certificate issued and stored
The certificate is generated in Arabic or English and completion is stored on the contact or employee record, visible to HR through the Employees module.

Implementation

What Naqlah configures in your implementation

  1. Course structure and access. We map your catalogue into courses, lessons and quizzes, and set free, paid or invitation-only access per course.
  2. Arabic and English templates. Course pages, lesson layouts and certificate designs are built in both languages and checked for right-to-left faults.
  3. Paid enrollment and invoicing. Course products, the payment gateway and the ZATCA e-invoice flow are configured as part of implementation.
  4. Employee linkage. Staff-only groups are tied to employee records, with master data from Jisr or ZenHR where those systems hold HR.
  5. Quizzes, badges and certificates. Passing scores, attempts, badges and certificate rules are set per course.
  6. Reporting and trainer onboarding. Dashboards for completion and revenue, and training for your trainers on publishing content.

Timelines depend on the number of courses, languages and integrations, and Naqlah gives a clear roadmap in the first consultation.
